Jonkershoek is situated in the Stellenbosch wine region. The trails have been carved through the forest that nests between two very steep mountain ranges.

One of the most famous areas in the Cape, home to some of South Africa’s most renowned wines, the Jonkershoek, Stellenbosch region boasts lush hills and towering mountain ranges. A perfect place for any mountain biking enthusiast, there are endless routes and races to take part in, including the Absa Cape Epic which passes through the Stellenbosch area. A more mountainous region that is perfect for an exciting trail ride, Jonkershoek is leafy and green, a great place to explore the natural wonder of the area while enjoying some much needed time on the bike. With vineyards, rolling hills and towering mountains all around, there is a sense of anticipation in the air as you discover what adventure lies around each new corner.

JONKERSHOEK STELLENBOSCH

Stages

Day 1 to 4 Jonkershoek and Surrounds

4 hours per day exploring the amazing Jonkershoek Trails.

Day 5-Table Mountain and Signal Hill (50km, ascent 550m)

Ride from the Point Gym, Green Point to Camps Bay, up the Glen and spend the day riding the trails on Table Mountain and Signal Hill. Descend to the waterfront for coffee.

Day 6- Flexible Day Activity

This day is flexible depending on group. Non cycling activities could be considered. E.g. City Tour, Mountain Hike, Wine Tour
